Role Overview
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Practice Lead will lead ProCloud’s information security strategy and practices, with direct responsibility for managing enterprise backup, cyber recovery, disaster recovery, and compliance initiatives. This is a senior role, combining strategic direction with hands-on practice leadership, solutions implemenation, client engagement, and team development.
Main responsibilities
Practice Leadership & Client Engagement
- Serve as Practice Lead for Cohesity enterprise backup and cyber recovery solutions and HPE Zerto disaster recovery solutions.
- Develop and grow ProCloud’s Security Practice client base, driving new business and enhancing service offerings.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional client experiences across all security projects and managed services.
- Act as a trusted security advisor to clients, aligning solutions with their business needs and risk profiles.
Security Governance & Compliance
- Provide oversight and ensure compliance with ProCloud’s internal ISO 27001 security standards.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce robust security policies and frameworks that meet or exceed client contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to industry best practices and evolving security standards.
Service Delivery & Operations
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of security, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Ensure successful project delivery, meeting defined objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead the provision of ongoing support and managed services to clients, ensuring operational excellence and rapid incident response
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior information security role, preferably with both enterprise and managed service provider experience.
- Strong track record of client-facing delivery, solution design, and ongoing support.
- Deep understanding of enterprise backup, cyber recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. Experience with Cohesity and HPE Zerto desirable and willingness to upskill as required.
- Proven ability to manage ISO 27001 compliance and implement robust security governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in growing a security practice or service offering.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and business-focused.
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications.
- ITIL, PRINCE2, or PMP for project and service management.
- Vendor certifications in Cohesity, HPE Zerto, or related technologies.
Location
This role may be based out of Boyle or Leixlip and will also involve travel to client sites.
