Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant: Networking to join our Enterprise Infrastructure
team.
This is a hands-on role involving the design, implementation and support of secure, resilient and
high-performance enterprise networks. You will work across wired, wireless, WAN and secure-access
environments, while leading technical activities and resolving complex network issues.
The role would suit an experienced network professional who enjoys working directly with customers
and taking ownership of technical solutions from design through to operational handover.
Main responsibilities
- Design secure enterprise wired, wireless, WAN and remote-access solutions.
- Configure and deploy switches, wireless infrastructure and routing platforms.
- Lead network installations, migrations, upgrades and controlled changes.
- Resolve complex routing, switching, wireless, VPN and connectivity issues.
- Maintain network monitoring, alerts, health checks and technical documentation.
- Support network security, segmentation, SASE, SD-WAN and secure-access solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues and communicate clearly with customers and
vendors.
Technical experience
The successful candidate should have experience across a strong selection of the following:
- HPE Aruba, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet or similar enterprise networking technologies.
- Aruba Central, ClearPass and ArubaOS-CX.
- Enterprise wired, wireless and WAN environments.
- Routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and STP.
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and NAT.
- Network segmentation, authentication and access control.
- SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA, SWG, CASB and network monitoring.
What we are looking for
- A minimum of five years’ experience in network engineering or a comparable role.
- Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise networks.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex availability, connectivity and performance issues.
- Experience delivering network implementations, upgrades or migrations.
- Strong technical documentation and customer communication skills.
- Understanding of ITSM, change control, security and operational handover.
- Relevant certification such as CCNA, CCNP, Aruba ACMP, ACDP or equivalent would be advantageous.

- Working Hours - The normal working hours for the position are Monday to Friday: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
